The Classic Rainbow Mountain Tour

Vinincunca is the best-known mountain of 7 colors in Peru. Its Quechua name means mountain of colors. In this Classic rainbow mountain tour, we will visit one of the most famous natural attractions of Cusco “Vinincunca”. The tour starts early in the morning, We will pass by your hotel in Cusco between 04:00 and 05:00 am. To travel by car for two hours to the South of Cusco, until reaching the district of Cusipata. Here we will have a buffet breakfast, then we will travel by car for another hour until we reach the rainbow mountain checkpoint.

We will start the walking, the trekking will be 1 hour and 40 minutes ( maybe 2 hours according to your speed), we will observe the typical flora and fauna of the Andes, among which the presence of Llamas and Alpacas stands out, upon reaching the viewpoint of Vinicunca or “Rainbow Mountain of Cusco” (5080 meters above the sea level) our professional tour guide will give us an explanation about the geology, nature, and color of the mountain, we can also take advantage of the moment to take photos for social networks and admire the beautiful landscape, then we will return by the same way to the point where we start the trekking, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

After finishing lunch we will start the return trip to the city of Cusco, arriving between 4-5 in the afternoon. We will finish the tour in Cusco city center.
