The tour to Machu Picchu begins with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco early in the morning. We take the train from Ollantaytambo train station to Aguas Calientes, the travel time is 3 hours 30 minutes. During the trip we will ascend to 3600 meters above sea level. We will appreciate a great diversity of natural landscapes which vary according to the existent altitude levels of the Andes. You can choose the train company: Peru Rail or Inca Rail, both of them will take you to Aguas Calientes, and they offer different time schedules.

We will travel through the Andean Valley (you will enjoy the landscapes), the train will offer you the best view of the places, then We will arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes. From this location we will take the bus to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu at a height of 2225 meters above sea level.

Our tour guide will be with you for around 3 hours inside of Machupicchu, you will ask everything that you want, and if you want to take pictures, just let him know (remember in Machu Picchu there is many rules  to take care of the sanctuary, for this reason you must ask to tour tour guide about from wich places you can take pictures or where you can take a rest).

We will start the tour observing the natural landscape that surrounds the Inca city of Machu Picchu. In this private tour, you will visit: Plaza Principal, la Torre Circular, el Sagrado Reloj Solar, los Cuartos Reales, el Templo de las Tres Ventanas, los cementerios and more.

Aftaer 3 hours We will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, in this cosmopolitan town we will have lunch in a beautiful restaurant. After luch We will go to the handycraft market to make  purchases. You will have free time to walking around.  Finally, after completing the entire tour of Machu Picchu and the town of Aguas Calientes, we will return to the city of Cusco by train.

If you want to go to the Hot Springs, We will need to spend one night more in Aguas Calientes.
