Cusco Tourist Ticket
Posted on : 12 August 2021
The Cusco tourist ticket will not only be very useful, but it is practically essential to be able to know the attractions of the city and its surroundings. This ticket has two options: the complete and the partial. If you are only going to visit the city just for a couple of days, you may only need the partial one, just make sure to choose the circuit that fits the tour in Cusco that you are going to take. However, if your stay will be more than two days, it is much more convenient to purchase the complete one.
The full ticket gives you access to 16 tourist attractions in Cusco, many of these sites are part of the traditional circuits such as the Sacred Valley tour, the Cusco City Tour, or the South Valley tour. However, there are other places that you can attend on your own, including several museums, monuments, and dance shows.
You must bear in mind that you must always carry this ticket with you, since it is personal and non-transferable, you must present it along with your identity document. A great advantage of this ticket is that it lasts for up to 10 days from when you start using it. The only problem we find about it is that it does not exist individual entrances for the most popular sites, like Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Chinchero, Sacsayhuaman so try to plan your visits into the range of time that is given.
Here we leave you the complete list of sites included with the Cusco Tourist Ticket
In Cusco City: Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum of Regional History, Museum of Popular Art, Monument to Pachacutec, Qosqo Music and Traditional Dance Center, Qoricancha Museum.
Around Cusco: the ruins of Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, Tipón, Pikillacta
In the Sacred Valley: the ruins of Pisac, the ruins of Ollantaytambo, Chinchero, and the agricultural terraces of Moray
