Let yourself be enveloped by the magic of Cusco!

Cusco City Tour

The name ‘Cuzco’ is a Quechua word that means ‘Navel of the world’ (Quechua was the language of the Incas).

In the time of the Incas, Cusco was the capital of the empire. Today Inca buildings such as Sacsayhuaman, Coricancha, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay survive on its streets. Likewise, a large part of its streets was made with stones from Inca temples and palaces.

The Cusco City Tour visits Sacsayhuaman, the temple of the Sun called Koricancha, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, the Cathedral of Cusco.

To carry out this tour you must walk certain sections in each place of a visit, so I suggest you do it on the second day of your stay in Cusco, and on the first day of your arrival, dedicate yourself to rest and acclimatize. On the remaining days, you can visit Machupicchu, Rainbow mountain, Salkantay, Palcoyo mountain, or Humantay Lagoon.

The Cusco City Tour is a 5-hour tour (half a day). Some travel agencies in Cusco offer this tour in the morning (from 8 am) and other agencies offer you to do this tour in the afternoon (from 1 pm).

The Cusco City Tour includes the professional tour guide, the tourist bus to all places, and the driver.

We also offer you this tour in shared service (you will go with a group of travelers) or in private service (only your group).

This tour does not include Breakfast/lunch, tips, snacks.

What should you take to the Cusco City Tour?

Sun hat, sunscreen, water, camera or cell phone, if you go in the afternoon you must wear a windbreaker jacket.
