OUR HISTORY

Peru Private Tours was founded by Edwin Pimentel, ex-porter and tour guide of the Inca Trail, Salkantay, Machupicchu, among others. He was born in the community of Parobamba, 5 hours away by car from the city of Cusco, considered in extreme poverty in the region. After studying and working in the tourism field, he created this company because he want to give back to his community and others the shelter that he received from them. Besides that, since Peru Prívate Tours opened, we have started many social projects for the benefit of the Andean people, as well as the practice of sustainable tourism, most importantly, we take great care of our team who work for our company.
